Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 cups green beans, trimmed
  • 1 pound chicken breast, sliced into strips
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce can be replaced with tamari for gluten-free
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil (optional)
  • Rice or noodles for serving

Method

Cooking
  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the sliced chicken and season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for another minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the green beans and soy sauce, stir-frying for about 3-5 minutes until the beans are tender but still crisp.
  5. Drizzle with sesame oil if using, and serve over rice or noodles.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently to avoid overcooking the green beans. Freezing not recommended due to texture changes.
