Ingredients
  

For the chicken
  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
For assembly
  • Pita bread
  • Tzatziki sauce
  • Sliced cucumbers
  • Sliced tomatoes
  • Red onion
  • Feta cheese

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In the crockpot, combine chicken breasts, chicken broth, olive oil, garlic, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or until chicken is tender.
  3. Shred the chicken with two forks and stir to combine with the juices.
  4. Warm pita bread in the oven or on a skillet.
  5. Serve the shredded chicken inside the pita bread, topped with tzatziki, cucumbers, tomatoes, red onion, and feta cheese.

Notes

Store leftovers separately in airtight containers. The chicken will stay fresh in the refrigerator for up to three days, while the fresh toppings can last for about two days.
