Ingredients
  

For the Beef Filling
  • 1 pound ground beef You can substitute with ground turkey or chicken.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For cooking the beef.
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
For the Wraps
  • 4 large wraps or flatbreads
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup sliced red onion
For the Cucumber Yogurt Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup cucumber, finely grated and squeezed dry To reduce excess moisture.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (additional)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and black pepper to taste (for the sauce)

Method
 

Cook the Beef
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
  3. Season with oregano, garlic powder, paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until fully flavored and slightly crispy.
Prepare the Sauce
  1. In a bowl, mix Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, lemon juice, additional olive oil, dill, garlic, salt, and pepper until smooth.
Assemble the Wraps
  1. Warm wraps in a dry skillet or oven for about 1 minute.
  2. Spread cucumber yogurt sauce over each wrap.
  3. Add cooked beef, lettuce, tomatoes, and red onion.
  4. Fold tightly and serve immediately while warm.

Notes

Serve with a side of homemade potato wedges or fresh Greek salad. For extra heat, offer hot sauce or chili flakes.
