- Clean the mushrooms and slice them.
Cooking
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant but not browned.
- Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they become golden brown, stirring occasionally (about 5-7 minutes).
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Cook for another 2 minutes until the cheese is melted and the mushrooms are well-coated.
- Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve warm.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 3-4 days. Reheat gently on the stove or in the microwave until warmed through.
