Ingredients

Pasta and Chicken
  • 8 oz bowtie pasta
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
Sauce
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter Divided into two portions
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic preferred
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Garnish
  • Fresh parsley, chopped For garnish
  • Grated Parmesan cheese Optional

Method

Cook the Pasta
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the bowtie pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the Chicken
  1. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the chicken is golden and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Make the Garlic Butter Sauce
  1. In the same skillet, add the remaining butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant—be careful not to let it burn.
Combine
  1. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and stir to coat with the garlic butter. Add the drained pasta and toss everything together until well mixed. Adjust seasoning as needed.
Serve
  1. Plate the dish, garnishing with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese if desired. Enjoy your Garlic Butter Chicken Bowtie Pasta while it’s warm!

Notes

Let leftovers cool completely before storing in an airtight container. Refrigerate for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat with a splash of water to loosen the sauce.
