Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, melt the butter and mix in the sugar until well combined.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
- In another bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
Baking
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let cool before cutting into squares and serving.
Notes
To serve, top with vanilla ice cream or drizzle with chocolate/caramel sauce. Store in an airtight container for up to 4-5 days at room temperature or refrigerate for up to a week.
