Ingredients
  

Chia Base
  • 1 cup chia seeds
  • 2 cups almond milk or any milk of choice Can use coconut, soy, or oat milk.
Chocolate Mixture
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter Can substitute with sunflower seed butter for nut-free option.
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey Honey or agave nectar can be used as alternatives.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the chia seeds and almond milk. Stir well and let it sit for about 10-15 minutes until it thickens.
Mix Chocolate Mixture
  1. In another bowl, mix together the cocoa powder, peanut butter, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
Combine Mixtures
  1. Combine the thickened chia mixture with the chocolate-peanut butter mixture, stirring until evenly mixed.
Freeze
  1. Pour the mixture into a container and spread it out evenly.
  2. Freeze for at least 2 hours or until solid.
  3. Scoop out and enjoy as a refreshing treat!

Notes

Store in the freezer in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks. Let it sit for a few minutes at room temperature before scooping if it becomes too hard.
