  • 1 cake 1 cake (any flavor) Use any flavor of cake you prefer
  • 1 cup 1 cup frosting (any flavor) Any flavor of frosting can be used
  • Candy coating (chocolate or colored) Choose candy coating based on preferred color
  • Lollipop sticks For inserting into the cake balls
  • Sprinkles or decorations (optional) For added decoration and festive spirit

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Bake the cake according to package instructions and let it cool completely.
  2. Crumble the cake into a large bowl and mix in the frosting until well combined.
  3. Roll the mixture into small balls (about 1 inch in diameter) and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Insert lollipop sticks into the center of each cake ball.
  5. Freeze the cake pops for about 30 minutes to firm them up.
Coating and Decorating
  1. Melt the candy coating according to package instructions.
  2. Dip each cake pop into the melted coating, allowing excess to drip off.
  3. Decorate with sprinkles or other decorations while the coating is still wet.
  4. Place the cake pops upright in a stand or in a piece of Styrofoam to allow them to set.
  5. Once set, enjoy your festive cake pops!

Notes

To store, keep in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week or refrigerate for about 2 weeks. For longer storage, place in the freezer for up to 2 months.
