  • 2 cups mashed potatoes Leftover mashed potatoes work great.
  • 2 cups stuffing Use leftover stuffing for best flavor.
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce Can use whole berry or jellied cranberry sauce.
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded Feel free to experiment with different cheeses.
  • 2 cups green beans, trimmed Fresh or frozen green beans work.
  • 1 cup turkey gravy Leftover gravy preferred; can substitute with chicken gravy.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a casserole dish, layer the cooked turkey evenly across the bottom.
  3. Add a layer of green beans on top of the turkey.
  4. Pour the turkey gravy over the turkey and green beans to keep everything moist.
  5. Spread your leftover stuffing on top of the gravy layer.
  6. Add a layer of mashed potatoes to create a creamy topping.
  7. Sprinkle cheddar cheese generously over the mashed potatoes.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven until the casserole is hot and the cheese is golden and bubbly, about 25–30 minutes.

Notes

Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley. Pairs well with salad or crusty bread. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for 2 months before baking.
