Easy Layered Christmas Jello

Ingredients
  

Jello Layers
  • 1 box (3 oz) lime jello
  • 1 box (3 oz) cherry or strawberry jello
  • 2 cups boiling water 1 cup for each jello layer
  • 2 cups cold water 1 cup for each jello layer
Cream Layer
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk Warmed slightly
  • 1 envelope unflavored gelatin Sprinkled over water for blooming
  • 1 cup whipped topping Plus extra for garnish
Optional Add-ins
  • 1/2 cup crushed pineapple Optional, for added flavor
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans or mini marshmallows Optional, for added texture
  • to taste lime zest or sprinkles For garnish

Method
 

Prepare Lime Layer
  1. In a bowl, dissolve the lime jello in 1 cup of boiling water. Stir until fully dissolved. Add 1 cup of cold water. If desired, stir in crushed pineapple or marshmallows. Pour the mixture into a 9x13 glass dish and chill for 1 hour until firm.
Prepare Cream Layer
  1. In a small bowl, sprinkle unflavored gelatin over 1/4 cup of cold water and let it bloom for 5 minutes.
  2. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Warm the condensed milk slightly and stir it into the cream cheese.
  3. Heat the bloomed gelatin until it’s dissolved (microwave for 10 seconds if needed), then mix it into the cream cheese mixture. Pour this layer over the green jello and chill for another 1–2 hours.
Prepare Cherry Layer
  1. Dissolve the red jello in 1 cup of boiling water, add 1 cup of cold water, and let it cool to room temperature. Gently pour it over the cream layer and refrigerate for another 1–2 hours.
Serve
  1. Before serving, top with whipped cream and garnish with lime zest or sprinkles. Cut and serve chilled.

Notes

Make sure each layer is fully set before adding the next one. Be gentle when pouring each layer to avoid disturbing the layers below. For added flavor, consider using flavored whipped topping or flavored gelatins of your choice.
