  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
For the honey glaze

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp ginger powder

Method

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, salt, and pepper.
  2. Dredge the chicken pieces in the flour mixture until well coated.
Cooking
  1. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Fry the chicken pieces until golden brown and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes.
Glazing
  1. In a separate bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, and ginger powder.
  2. Drain excess oil from the chicken and toss the fried chicken in the honey mixture until coated.

Notes

Make sure the oil is hot enough before frying the chicken to ensure a crispy exterior. You can customize the glaze by adding red pepper flakes for heat.
