Wrap Ingredients
  • 2 pieces Whole grain wraps Choose for added fiber.
  • 1/2 cup Hummus Can substitute with cream cheese or avocado spread.
  • 6 slices Sliced turkey or chicken Can substitute with roast beef or grilled vegetables.
  • 1 cup Lettuce Rinsed and dried.
  • 1 medium Tomato Cut into slices.
  • 1 cup Sliced cucumbers Add lemon juice for extra flavor.
  • 1 cup Fruits (like grapes or apple slices) Packed separately.
  • 1/2 cup Yogurt For added nutrition.
  • 1/4 cup Nuts or trail mix To crunch alongside the wraps.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Spread hummus evenly over the whole grain wrap.
  2. Layer sliced turkey or chicken, lettuce, tomato, and cucumbers on top.
  3. Roll the wrap tightly and slice it in half.
  4. Pack fruits, yogurt, and nuts or trail mix in separate containers.
  5. Store the lunch in the refrigerator until ready to eat.

Notes

Wraps can be made the night before; store wet ingredients separately to prevent sogginess. Experiment with different proteins and fresh herbs for added flavor.
