  • 1 cup whipped cream Homemade or store-bought
  • 2 tablespoons sugar Adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Or substitute with almond or mint extract for variation
  • to taste Fresh berries for garnish Optional for presentation

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave or a double boiler until smooth. If using a microwave, heat in short intervals to prevent scorching.
  2. In a separate bowl, whip the cream with sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  3. Fold the melted chocolate into the whipped cream gently until well combined.
  4. Spoon the mixture into serving dishes and chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
  5. Serve chilled, garnished with fresh berries.

Notes

Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to three days. Cover individual servings with plastic wrap for freshness.
