Preparation
- Preheat the air fryer to 360°F (182°C).
- Butter one side of each slice of bread generously.
- Place one slice of bread butter-side down in the air fryer basket.
- Layer the cheese on top of the bread, then add the second slice of bread, butter-side up.
- Cook in the air fryer for about 6-8 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the air fryer, slice, and serve.

Serve hot with tomato soup, a crisp salad, or fresh fruit. Customize with toppings like avocado, bacon, or jalapeños. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to two days and reheat in the air fryer.
