Ingredients
  

Dumpling Filling
  • 250 g ground pork or chicken Can substitute with shrimp or tofu for different options.
  • 1 cup finely chopped napa cabbage Packs flavor and texture.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Adds a savory aroma.
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger For a zesty flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce Adjust to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil Enhances the richness.
Dumpling Wrappers
  • 30 pieces dumpling wrappers Store-bought wrappers work well.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, combine the ground pork or chicken, chopped napa cabbage, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Mix well.
  2. Take a dumpling wrapper and place a spoonful of the filling in the center.
  3. Wet the edges of the wrapper with a little water, fold it over, and pinch the edges to seal.
  4. Repeat the filling and sealing process until all wrappers are filled.
Cooking
  1. Steam the dumplings for about 15-20 minutes, or until the meat is fully cooked.
  2. Serve with soy sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For storage, keep leftover dumplings in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Freeze uncooked dumplings for up to 3 months.
