Ingredients
  

Cheese Ball Base
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese (softened at room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream
  • 1 cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese (shredded)
  • 1 packet Ranch Seasoning Mix (adjust to taste)
Decorations
  • 1/2 cup Pecans (chopped)
  • 5 pieces Black Olives (for eyes)
  • 1 piece Cherry Tomato (for nose)
  • 2 pieces Pretzels (for antlers)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, shredded sharp cheddar cheese, and ranch seasoning mix. Stir until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  2. Gradually add in the chopped pecans, mixing until evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
  3. Shape the mixture into a round ball and then gently flatten the bottom so it can stand up on your platter.
  4. To create the reindeer features, insert the pretzels into the top of the cheese ball for antlers.
  5. Use the black olives for the eyes, placing them just above the middle of the ball, and position the cherry tomato at the front for the nose.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld.

Notes

You can substitute chopped sunflower seeds if you have nut allergies. Arrange on a festive platter with dippers like crackers or veggies for serving.
