Preparation
- Start by washing and cutting the chicken into bite-sized pieces. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Cooking
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken pieces and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove them from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add a bit more oil if necessary and toss in the minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the broccoli florets and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until they are bright green and tender-crisp.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet. Add the soy sauce and oyster sauce, stirring well to combine.
- Pour in the cornstarch mixture and cook for an additional 2 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken and coat the chicken and broccoli.
