Preparation
- Trim and cut the steak into uniform bite-sized pieces. Optional: Sear in a skillet for extra flavor.
- In a bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
- Gradually whisk in the Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth.
Cooking
- Add steak bites to the crockpot and pour the sauce over them, stirring to coat evenly.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 4–5 hours or HIGH for 2–3 hours.
- When done, stir gently and garnish with chopped parsley and more Parmesan if desired.
Notes
For added depth of flavor, consider marinating the steak bites overnight in a mix of beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic. If a thicker sauce is desired, add a cornstarch slurry (1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water) to the sauce in the last 30 minutes of cooking.
