Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, chopped spinach, mashed garlic, grated Parmesan cheese, paprika, garlic powder, and cumin. Stir until everything is well blended.
- Gently pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel and season both sides generously with ground black pepper.
- Use a sharp knife to create a pocket in the center of each salmon fillet, being careful not to cut all the way through.
- Spoon the creamy spinach filling into the pocket of each salmon fillet.
Cooking
- Place the stuffed salmon on a greased baking sheet or in a lightly greased dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Serving
- Once done, remove from the oven and allow to rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Fresh spinach is preferable. Customize the filling with crushed red pepper flakes or other ingredients like sun-dried tomatoes or feta cheese.
