  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the melted butter, Cajun seasoning, heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker.
Cooking
  1. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
  2. Shred the chicken in the sauce before serving.
Serving
  1. Serve over cooked white rice or with crusty bread.

Notes

This dish can be customized with additional vegetables like bell peppers or spinach. Adjust the spice level with more or less Cajun seasoning. Leftovers can be refrigerated for 3-4 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
