Ingredients
  

Pastry and Filling
  • 1 package puff pastry (thawed) Use high-quality, store-bought pastry.
  • 1 wheel brie cheese Any soft brie will work well.
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought) Adjust sweetness according to taste.
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped Or use 1 teaspoon dried rosemary.
  • 1 large egg For egg wash.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Season to your liking.
  • optional Fresh cranberries for garnish Adds festive color.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut it into squares (approximately 4x4 inches).
  3. Place a small piece of brie in the center of each square.
  4. Spoon a small amount of cranberry sauce over the brie, then sprinkle with chopped rosemary, salt, and pepper.
  5. Bring the corners of the pastry square up towards the center, creating a flower shape. Pinch the edges to seal.
  6. Brush the tops with an egg wash made from a beaten egg.
Baking
  1. Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  2. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh cranberries if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
