- In a mixing bowl, mix together the heavy cream, whole milk, chilled brewed coffee, sugar, and vanilla extract until the sugar is completely dissolved.
Churning
- Pour the mixture into your ice cream maker, churning according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- When you’re just about done churning, sprinkle in the finely chopped dark chocolate.
Freezing
- Once your ice cream is ready, transfer it into an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours.
Notes
This ice cream can last up to two weeks in the freezer but is best enjoyed fresh. If it hardens too much, let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes before scooping. For serving, consider adding cocoa powder, chocolate sauce, or whipped cream.
