Preparation
- In a mixing bowl, mix together the heavy cream, whole milk, chilled brewed coffee, sugar, and vanilla extract. Whisk until the sugar is completely dissolved.
Churning
- Pour the mixture into your ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- When almost done churning, sprinkle in the finely chopped dark chocolate.
Freezing
- Transfer the ice cream into an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours to firm up.
Notes
Serve in a chilled bowl or cone. Garnish with chocolate sauce or fresh coffee beans. Store in an airtight container for up to two weeks.
