  • 1 cup whole milk Can be substituted with a dairy-free alternative.
  • 3/4 cup sugar Reduce to 1/2 cup for less sweetness.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the coconut milk, whole milk, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Churning
  1. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn for about 25 minutes, or until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.
Freezing
  1. Transfer the churned ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours until firm.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks. Let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes before scooping if it becomes too hard.
