  • 1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled Turkey bacon can be used for a lighter option.
Vegetables and Cheese
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved Adds sweetness and freshness.
  • 1 cup lettuce, chopped Add right before serving for freshness.
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, cubed Feel free to use any cheese you prefer.
Dressing

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and rinse under cold water to cool.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, chicken, bacon, tomatoes, lettuce, and cheese.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour the dressing over the pasta salad and toss to combine.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve chilled for best flavor. This dish can be made a day in advance; just add the lettuce and dressing right before serving. Perfect as a side or main dish.
