Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together the melted butter and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add the egg, honey, and vanilla extract, whisking until evenly incorporated.
- Gently stir in the flour, salt, and ½ teaspoon of cinnamon until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan, spreading it out evenly.
- Mix granulated sugar with the remaining ½ teaspoon of cinnamon and sprinkle over the batter.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 22–25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the blondies cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.
Notes
These blondies are great served warm with a drizzle of honey, ice cream, or whipped cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days at room temperature or refrigerate for up to a week.
