Ingredients
  

For the bars
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
For the glaze
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk for glaze

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and melted butter until crumbly.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the sour cream, eggs, cinnamon, vanilla extract, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking dish.
Baking
  1. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Glazing
  1. Allow to cool, then in a small bowl, mix powdered sugar and milk to make the glaze. Drizzle over the cooled bars.
  2. Cut into squares and enjoy!

Notes

Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days at room temperature, or refrigerate for a week. For longer storage, freeze before glazing for up to 3 months.
