Ingredients
  

For the Tree Base
  • 10 sprigs fresh rosemary sprigs More or less depending on the size of your board.
  • 1 stalk celery Position vertically at the base for the trunk.
For the Decorations
  • 4 ounces sharp cheddar Cut into ¾-inch squares.
  • 4 ounces Monterey Jack Cut to the same size as other cheeses.
  • 4 ounces mild or medium cheddar Cut into equal size as other cheeses.
  • ½ cup fresh cranberries
  • 1-2 star fruits Sliced, for the top of the tree and extra flair.
  • 1 cup assorted nuts Shape into a pot at the bottom if desired.
  • 1 fruit green kiwi Sliced.
  • Red, green, and black clusters seedless grapes Clipped into small clusters or stems removed.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Begin by laying out the outline of your tree using the sprigs of rosemary, starting from the top and spreading wider as you move downward.
  2. Position the celery stalk vertically at the bottom of the rosemary outline to act as the tree trunk, adjusting the length as necessary.
  3. Create narrow rows of ingredients starting from the bottom: row of cheese, red grapes, another row of cheese, green grapes, one more row of cheese, and finally black grapes.
  4. Use kiwi slices to shape the top of the tree in a triangle formation.
  5. At the very peak of your tree, place a slice of star fruit as the star.
  6. Scatter additional star fruit slices and cranberries randomly around the tree along with assorted nuts.
  7. Your charming creation can be assembled up to 4 hours ahead, just cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

Cover tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate if preparing in advance. Use up to 24 hours but note that fruits may lose texture after that.
