Ingredients
  

For the Meatballs
  • 1 lb ground beef Quality ground beef (80/20) is ideal.
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup cranberry sauce For mixing into the meatballs.
  • 1 large egg To bind the mixture.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
For Glazing
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce Used for glazing the meatballs.
  • 1/4 cup BBQ sauce Added for flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, 1/4 cup cranberry sauce, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Roll the mixture into small meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
Cooking
  1. Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
  2. In a small saucepan, mix the remaining cranberry sauce and BBQ sauce over medium heat until warm.
  3. Toss the cooked meatballs in the sauce and serve warm as an appetizer.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in the oven or microwave until warmed through.
