Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the saltine crackers in a single layer.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and brown sugar together, stirring constantly.
- Bring to a boil and let it cook for 3 minutes without stirring.
- Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
- Pour the toffee mixture over the crackers, spreading it evenly.
- Sprinkle the chopped nuts over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
- Allow it to sit for a few minutes until the chocolate melts, then spread the chocolate evenly.
- Let it cool completely before breaking it into pieces. Enjoy!
