Ingredients
  

Appetizers
  • 1 package Brie cheese topped with cranberry sauce
  • 12 pieces Stuffed mushrooms with garlic and herbs Prepared ahead and refrigerated until baking.
  • 24 shrimp Mini shrimp cocktails Chilled in ice water before serving.
Main Dishes
  • 1 piece Honey glazed ham Bake according to package instructions.
  • 1 piece Herb-roasted turkey Season well and roast until golden brown.
Sides
  • 5 pounds Mashed potatoes with garlic and cream Boil, mash with cream and garlic.
  • 1 pound Green bean almondine Sauté with almonds until tender.
  • 3 cups Festive roasted vegetables Season and roast assorted vegetables.
Desserts
  • 1 pie Pumpkin pie Bake a day before to set.
  • 1 log Chocolate yule log Cool completely before frosting.
  • 24 pieces Assorted holiday cookies

Method
 

Preparation of Appetizers
  1. Prepare the stuffed mushrooms by mixing fresh garlic and herbs with cream cheese, fill each mushroom cap, and refrigerate until ready to bake.
  2. Chill the shrimp in ice water for the mini shrimp cocktails.
Cooking the Main Dishes
  1. Glaze the ham with honey and bake according to package instructions.
  2. Season the turkey and roast until golden brown.
Preparing the Sides
  1. Boil the potatoes until tender, then mash with cream and garlic.
  2. Sauté the green beans with almonds until tender and crispy.
Dessert Preparation
  1. Bake the pumpkin pie one day before the event.
  2. Prepare the chocolate yule log and cool completely.
Setting Up the Buffet
