Preparation
- Melt chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
- In a large bowl, combine rice cereal and powdered sugar.
- Pour melted chocolate mixture over cereal mixture and mix until well-coated.
- Press the mixture into a greased 8×8-inch baking dish.
Setting
- Refrigerate for at least an hour until set.
- Cut into bars and serve.
Notes
These bars are delicious on their own or served with vanilla ice cream. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week or freeze for longer storage.
