Ingredients

For the crust
  • 12 pieces chocolate chip cookies, crushed
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
For the filling
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup whipped cream
For the topping
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup chopped peanuts (optional) Use if you want extra crunch.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the crushed chocolate chip cookies and melted butter. Press the mixture into a 9-inch pie pan to form the crust.
  3. Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then let it cool completely.
Filling
  1. In a separate bowl, mix the peanut butter and powdered sugar until smooth.
  2. Add in the softened cream cheese and mix until well combined.
  3. Gently fold in the whipped cream until everything is incorporated.
Assembly
  1. Pour the peanut butter mixture into the cooled cookie crust and spread it evenly.
  2. Top with chocolate chips and optional chopped peanuts.
  3. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

Ensure that your cream cheese is softened to room temperature for a smoother mixture. Don’t skip the refrigeration step, as it helps the pie set and enhances the flavors.
