Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour a cake pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Stir in the vanilla extract and milk.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
Baking
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool before serving.
Notes
For serving, dust with powdered sugar, drizzle with chocolate ganache, or serve with vanilla ice cream or fresh berries. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or in the refrigerator for about a week. Freezing is possible for up to 3 months.
