  • 2 cups all-purpose flour Sifted for better texture.
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder Leavening agent.
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt Balancing flavor.
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips Quality chips recommended.
  • 1 cup dried cranberries For a tart contrast to the sweetness.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Mix until well combined.
  3. Add in the eggs and vanilla extract, and continue to mix until smooth.
  4. In the same bowl, stir in the flour, baking powder, and salt until just combined.
  5. Fold in the white chocolate chips and dried cranberries.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
Baking
  1. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the edges are golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean.
  2. Allow to cool before slicing into bars.

Notes

Serve warm for a gooey treat or let cool for a chewier texture. Pairs well with a cold glass of milk or vanilla ice cream.
