Ingredients
  

For the crust
  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 cup sugar
For the filling
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Ensure cream cheese is at room temperature for a smoother filling.
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup whipped topping Can be substituted with homemade whipped cream.
For the topping
  • 1 can cherry pie filling Can be swapped for other flavors like blueberry or peach.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the crushed pretzels, melted butter, and sugar until combined.
  3. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9x13 inch pan.
  4. Bake for 10 minutes, then let cool.
  5. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth.
  6. Fold in the whipped topping.
  7. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled pretzel crust.
  8. Spoon the cherry pie filling over the cream cheese layer.
  9. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to allow to set.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 days. Can be frozen for up to 2 months.
