Cheesy Ravioli Pasta Bake

Main Ingredients
  • 1 package refrigerated ravioli Any variety of refrigerated ravioli can be used
  • 1 pound ground beef Can substitute with ground turkey or chicken
  • 2 cups marinara sauce Store-bought or homemade
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese Reserve half for layering
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese For the topping
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper To taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For browning the beef

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and brown the ground beef. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked beef, marinara sauce, and half of the mozzarella cheese.
Layering
  1. In a greased baking dish, layer half of the ravioli, followed by half of the beef mixture, and half of the remaining mozzarella cheese. Repeat the layers.
  2. Top with Parmesan cheese and any remaining mozzarella.
Baking
  1. Cover with foil and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  2. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  3. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, place in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 15-20 minutes.
