  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1/2 cup Milk More may be added for a creamier texture.
  • 8 oz Cream cheese
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese Feel free to mix in other types of cheese.
  • 1/2 cup Green onions Chopped.
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • to taste Black pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Boil the potatoes in salted water until they are tender, about 15-20 minutes.
  2. Drain the potatoes and mash them with butter, milk, and cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
  3. Stir in cheddar cheese, chopped green onions, and minced garlic. Season with black pepper to taste.
  4. Transfer the mashed potato mixture to a greased baking dish.
Baking
  1. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) until the casserole is hot and lightly golden on top, about 25-30 minutes.
