Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, mix the shredded chicken, Alfredo sauce, ricotta cheese, garlic, and optional spinach. Season with salt and pepper.
Layering
- Spread a thin layer of the chicken mixture in the bottom of a baking dish.
- Layer noodles on top, followed by more chicken mixture, a sprinkle of mozzarella and Parmesan.
- Repeat the layering process until all ingredients are used, finishing with noodles and a layer of sauce topped with mozzarella and Parmesan.
Baking
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Serve hot with a side salad or garlic bread. Allowing the lasagna to rest after baking makes it easier to cut.
