Ingredients
  

Ice Cream Base
  • 2 cups heavy cream Chill before mixing for creamier texture.
  • 1 cup whole milk Chill before mixing for creamier texture.
  • 3/4 cup sugar Regular granulated sugar.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Butter Pecan Mixture
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter Melt before mixing.
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar Use light or dark according to preference.
  • 1/2 cup roasted pecans Can substitute with walnuts or almonds.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in the brown sugar until it dissolves, then remove from heat and let cool.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, and vanilla extract. Stir until blended.
  3. Once the butter mixture has cooled, add it to the cream mixture and stir well.
  4. Fold in the roasted pecans into the mixture.
Churning and Freezing
  1. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions until soft serve consistency is reached.
  2. Transfer the ice cream to a lidded container and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
Serving
  1. Scoop the ice cream into bowls or cones and enjoy, optionally drizzling with chocolate or caramel sauce and adding a sprinkle of sea salt.

Notes

For best results, chill your heavy cream and milk before use, and don't rush the freezing process. You can customize the nuts and add flavor variations as desired.
