  • 4 fillets Salmon fillets Skin-on or skinless fillets can be used.
  • 1/4 cup Brown sugar Adjust based on sweetness preference.
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice Freshly squeezed for best flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil Extra virgin olive oil recommended.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper to create the glaze.
  3. Brush the salmon fillets with the glaze on both sides.
Cooking
  1. Place the salmon on the grill skin-side down and cook for about 6-8 minutes.
  2. Flip and grill for another 4-6 minutes until the salmon is cooked through and the glaze caramelizes.
  3. Remove from the grill and serve warm.

Notes

Serve on a bed of cooked quinoa or rice, accompanied by steamed vegetables or a garden salad. A slice of lemon on the side adds a refreshing burst of flavor.
