Ingredients
  

For the cookie dough
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, browned Adds a rich, nutty flavor.
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar Can be substituted with coconut sugar.
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour May substitute with gluten-free flour blend.
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips Can add more for a richer cookie.
For the brownie mixture
  • 1 cup brownie mix Prepare according to package directions.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine browned butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in eggs and vanilla until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Stir in chocolate chips.
  6. In a separate bowl, prepare the brownie mix according to package directions.
Baking
  1. Drop cookie dough and brownie batter by the spoonful onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, mixing them slightly.
  2. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden.
  3. Let cool before serving.

Notes

For extra chewy cookies, chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking. Serve with vanilla ice cream or drizzle with chocolate or caramel sauce.
