  • 1 wheel brie cheese Use high-quality brie for best flavor.
  • 1 sheet puff pastry Keep well-chilled before use.
  • 1 each egg For egg wash to achieve a golden finish.
  • as needed honey For drizzling on top after baking.
  • as needed fresh herbs Such as thyme or rosemary for garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut it into squares, approximately 3 inches by 3 inches.
  3. Place a small piece of brie on each square of puff pastry.
  4. Fold the corners of the pastry over the brie, sealing it well to create a tiny pouch.
  5. Place the bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
Baking
  1. Bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the pastry is puffed and golden brown.
  2. Remove from the oven and drizzle with honey while still warm.
  3. Garnish with fresh herbs and serve warm for the best flavor and texture.

Notes

Serve warm for the best experience. These bites are great as appetizers or as part of a cheese board. Can be stored unbaked in the fridge for up to 2 days or frozen for 2 months.
