Ingredients
  

Buns and Filling
  • 12 rolls Hawaiian rolls
  • 6 large Eggs Can use whole eggs or egg whites.
  • 1 cup Cheese (cheddar or American) Can use pepper jack for a little heat.
  • 8 slices Cooked bacon or breakfast sausage Ensure meats are fully cooked.
For Assembly
  • 2 tablespoons Butter Melted for brushing on top.
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
  3. In a skillet, cook the eggs, seasoning with salt and pepper.
Assembly
  1. Layer the cooked eggs, cheese, and bacon or sausage on the bottom half of the rolls.
  2. Place the top halves of the rolls over the fillings.
  3. Melt butter and brush it over the top of the rolls.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the tops of the rolls are golden.
  2. Remove from the oven, slice, and serve warm.
