Ingredients
  

Dough Ingredients
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 packet active dry yeast (2 1/4 teaspoons)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup warm water Around 110°F (43°C)
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 each egg

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine the warm water and sugar, then stir in the yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add the melted butter, milk, egg, and salt to the yeast mixture.
  3. Gradually add the flour, mixing until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.
  5. Place in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let rise for 1 hour.
Baking
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Punch down the dough and divide it into 12 equal pieces. Shape each piece into a roll and place on a baking sheet.
  3. Let rise for another 30 minutes.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Serve warm.
