  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup raisins (optional) Adds a nice sweetness and texture.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish with butter.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cubed bread, milk, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Stir until the bread absorbs the mixture.
  3. If using, fold in the raisins.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
Baking
  1. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden and the pudding is set.
  2. Let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm or at room temperature.
