Preparation
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, ensuring it’s nice and hot for that perfect sear.
- In a small bowl, combine the smoked paprika, paprika, oregano, thyme, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and ground black pepper.
- Brush each salmon filet with the light olive oil, then generously rub the spice mixture all over the fish. Make sure you coat both sides for maximum flavor.
Grilling
- Place the seasoned salmon on the grill, skin-side down. Grill for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
- Once cooked, remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
