Ingredients
  

For the Teriyaki Sauce
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce Use low sodium if preferred.
  • 2 tablespoons Honey Adjust sweetness as per taste.
  • 1 tablespoon Grated ginger Fresh is preferred for best flavor.
  • 2 cloves Minced garlic Can substitute with garlic powder.
Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound Chicken breast Cut into bite-sized pieces.
  • 2 cups Rice Use any type you prefer.
  • 2 cups Broccoli Steamed until tender.
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped green onions For garnish.
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds For garnish.

Method
 

Preparing the Teriyaki Sauce
  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, grated ginger, and minced garlic to make the teriyaki sauce.
Cooking the Chicken
  1. In a skillet, cook the chicken until golden and cooked through, then add the teriyaki sauce and stir to coat.
Cooking the Rice and Broccoli
  1. Cook rice according to package instructions.
  2. Steam the broccoli until tender.
Assembling the Bowl
  1. Serve the chicken over rice, topped with broccoli, chopped green onions, and sesame seeds.

Notes

For tender chicken, don’t overcook it. Marinate the chicken in teriyaki sauce for 30 minutes before cooking for extra flavor.
