Preparation
- Butter one side of each slice of sourdough bread.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
Cooking
- Place one slice of bread, buttered side down, in the skillet.
- Layer the cheddar and mozzarella cheese on top of the bread.
- Place the second slice of bread on top, buttered side up.
- Grill for 2-3 minutes until golden brown, then flip and grill the other side until golden and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from heat, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
Pairs well with tomato soup or fresh salad. For leftovers, wrap tightly and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in a skillet for best results.
