Cooking Steps
  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add chopped onion and garlic, cooking until soft.
  3. Stir in chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add tomato soup, kidney beans, and beef broth.
  5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for at least 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Serve hot with cornbread or over rice.

Notes

Beef chili is best served hot. Consider topping with shredded cheese, sour cream, or chopped green onions.
